Examples of some of my work
The following is a review that I wrote for a car review website store called carinfo.com
German car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz have been making cars for decades and they have a reputation for building some of the most reliable and stylish cars that are available on the market today.
For those of you looking to buy your first luxury sedan or coupe then you could do worse than opting for the 2013 C-Class which for this year is now available with a V6 engine option. The C-Class is available as follows: The C250 which is comes as a sedan or coupe, the C300 comes as a sedan, coupe or sport sedan. The engines on offer are the 1.8 and two versions of the 3.5 liter V6 (one for the C300 producing 248 hp, and one for the C350 that produces 302 hp) and they all come with a 7 speed automatic transmission. For those of you who like something faster then Mercedes offers the speedy C63 AMG which comes as either a sedan or a coupe and has a massive 6.3 liter engine in a V8 that produces a mouth watering 451hp.
The CL-Class has remained unaltered for 2012 and is a luxurious coupe available as the CL550, CL600, CL63 AMG and the CL65 AMG. The CL550 is powered by its 4.6 liter engine which comes as a twin turbocharged V8 and 7 speed auto transmission, which is smaller than the CL600 which has a slightly larger capacity engine at 5.5 liters in a V12. Both the CL63 and CL65 AMG have higher performances thanks to their 5.5 to 6.0 liter twin turbo V8 and V12 engines and both are rear wheel drive.
As for the CLS Class, Mercedes have changed little since last year and the luxury 4-door sedan CLS550 comes with a V8 turbo 4.6 liter engine that gives 402 hp, rear wheel drive and a automatic 7 speed gearbox. The AMG CLS63 is for those who want something a bit more powerful, that is why it comes with a 5.5 liter V8 engine that is twin turbo and gives a 0 to 60 in 4.4 seconds and a massive 550hp.
The S-Class now comes with multi-contour seats, a rear view camera to assist parking and key-free entry. Whilst the E-Class now comes available as a hybrid and as a sedan, coupe or convertible with a soft top as well as a wagon.
Mercedes also offer a range of SUVs and these begin with the G-Class which seats five people and comes with a V8 5.5 liter engine capable of producing 382 hp, is four wheel drive and a 7 speed auto gearbox. The next level up is the GL-Class and these have had a complete redesign for 2013 and is an SUV that can seat up to 7 people whilst also refreshed for 2013 is the GLK-Class which is a luxury crossover that comes fitted with a panoramic roof, key-free entry, 20 inch wheels, satellite navigation, a CD changer that can take 6 discs at any one time and a rear view camera to aid parking.
Another SUV that Mercedes offer is the luxury M-Class and it now comes with a diesel option and even the basic model (ML350) comes with a sizeable 3.5 liter engine, producing a fraction over 300 hp. Features in this range include, seats that fold flat for extra storage space, an iPod dock and a built in rear seat entertainment system.
For those single people who do not have to worry about fitting their family into their car then Mercedes also produce a range of sports cars. The SL-Class roadster starts with the rear wheel drive SL550 which packs a powerful 4.6 liter V8, 7 speed transmission, under the hood, that is capable of producing 429 hp. Whilst the AMG version (SL63) offers everything that the standard SL has to offer but comes with a turbocharged 5.5 liter V8 engine that produces and impressive 530hp, whilst the SL65 takes things up a notch with its 6.0 liter V12, 621 hp engine.
Not sure you are ready for something that powerful? Then Mercedes also offer the SLK-Class which is more suited to those people looking to buy their first hardtop roadster. It is compact and comes with a 1.8 liter turbocharged 4 cylinder engine that produces 201 hp or there is the option to go a little bit more powerful with the 3.5 liter V6 engine. Both are rear wheel drive and have an automatic transmission which comprises 7 gears.
However, for those people who need to move people and equipment about, Mercedes also make minivans, which include the 5 seat Sprinter Crew Van and the impressive 12 seat Sprinter Passenger Van, and both come with V6 turbocharged engines under the hood. All Mercedes models come with a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty.
